Log Cabin 3 began today. Sometimes it seems that when using the bamboo skewers it makes the process of building so fast.
I finished all the pieces to log cabin and assembled it. Hope you all like it.
I began work on Log Cabin #2 today and despite not feeling good I was able to get four pieces done. Tomorrow will be finishing up the remaining pieces to it.
I finished the first cabin today. No shingles will be put on the roofs on the building in this village since snow will be on top.
Got a few more pieces done today on the cabin. Sorry about the poor lighting in the photo.
I began the first cabin in my new Christmas village. It takes time to cut the skewers since they are much thicker than the matchsticks I usually use.
I spent most of the day relaxing, but I know what I’m going to work on next. I’m taking a break from lighthouses so I don’t burn out on them plus with the Holidays coming up on us fast, I feel like making another Christmas village. Except this one I’m going to do entirely log cabin style. I’ve made a log cabin before but never an entire village, so I think this is going to be a lot of fun. I will be using a combination of bamboo skewers and matchsticks on this little project. :).
I put together the West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and painted it. It took five days and a total of 820 matchsticks to make this Lighthouse. It’s also the biggest Lighthouse I’ve made to date.
I spent the day working hard to complete all the pieces for the Lighthouse and I succeeded . Tomorrow begins the sanding and building process. 🙂
